The beautiful colour pallet selected for this quilt was not random, but inspired by the shimmering tones of a summer sunset during Margaret Mew's travels to the village of Merrow, in Surrey England.

Merrow Croft continues Margaret’s passion for Medallion Quilts. Here she combines her joy of hand piecing and hand appliqué once in a charming quilt in a fresh and pretty palette, but always with those splashes of her favourite teals and browns.

As you approach this project (or any other project), Margaret encourages everyone to follow their instinct, your own individual tastes and colours. The goal, according to Margaret, is to bring your personal touch to the project to please you first!
