Quiltmania

Founded in 1997, Quiltmania is a well-known magazine and book publishing company specializing in quilting and patchwork with its base in Vigneux-de-Bretagne near Nantes in western France.

While Quiltmania originated in France, its reach extends globally, with readers and followers from various countries around the world.

Books & Patterns

There are currently more than 100 quilting books and patterns available and Can Do Books endeavours to hold decent stock for all of them – and that can be a challenge due to the complex supply chain from France! These books are published in English and French and feature an extraordinary range of talented Australian quilt artists including Jenny Bear (Fit for Purpose), Susan Smith (Mathilde), Rachael Dodd (aka Rachaeldaisy and Whizz Bang!), Chris Jurd (Big, Bold & Beautiful), Judy Newman (Quilts for Life 2), Deborah Dorward (Stitches of Time), Karen Styles (Seams Like Yesterday), Jessica Wheelahan (Improvisational Contemporary Quilts), Margaret Mew (Quilts from La Gare and other Mewsings) and many more!

Magazines

The magazines include Quiltmania, Simply Vintage and Simply Moderne which are available by subscription directly from the publisher and limited quantities of current issues stocked at Can Do Books.
