A bag for when you’re dressing up (or down), and just need to carry “the essentials”. Can be a clutch, a shoulder bag or a handbag. This is a very easy-to-make pattern - just a step up from " Absolute Beginner" level. You'll learn to vary the straps, flap, fabrics and embellishments* to make a bag for every occasion. You'll also learn how to make a zip closure at the top of the bag. (The zip closure requires intermediate sewing skills, but the rest of the bag is basic).
